Wedding Day of Nell (Crowell) & Glen Parker in Gustavus, Alaska.

Wedding dress handmade by Nell in Gustavus of slipper satin fabric and "extras" sent to Alaska from California by Nell's mother Eve Lena Crowell. Flowers were waxed orange blossoms. Click for identifications....


On the decorated front porch of the Abraham Lincoln Parker homestead located on the west side of Good River in Gustavus, Alaska.

From Lt. to Rt. front row: Leslie "Les" Parker (brother of groom), Edith A. Parker (mother of groom), the "groom" Glen Parker, the "bride" Nell (Crowell) Parker, Abraham Lincoln Parker (father of groom), and May (Parker) White (sister of groom).

Back row Lt. to Rt. Charles Parker (oldest brother of groom), and Jennie Parker with husband Bert Parker (brother and sister-in-law of groom). 

Only immediate family member not present for the wedding was Eunice (Parker) Cliff, oldest sister of the groom, who resided in the state of Washington.
