- Description: Early pioneer Jessie Buoy's hand written letter to the Gustavus Electric Company questioning her electric bill. She concludes that something is "screwy in Denmark" & that she may have to buy her own electric plant. This letter was found by Dick Levitt 2008 in old files located at the Gustavus Dray.

Old Rutabaga Pudding Recipe.
- Date: 1910 - 1919
- Description: Old recipe for Rutabaga pudding. Rutabagas were a popular vegetable that grew well in the fields of Strawberry Point, Alaska. Planted by early settlers from 1914 on, they also provided fodder for cattle and other livestock on "the flats". They are a cross between wild cabbage and turnips.
