Born Janet Louise Walby on Oct. 23, 1893 in Spokane, Wa. She met Verne Henry in Sept. 1913 at the University of Washington while studying to become a teacher. They were engaged by Christmas and the lure of homesteading in Alaska was about to change their lives! Click for more...
