Snowy Inside-Out Mine Shaft View; Leroy Claim, Glacier Bay, Alaska.

Snow blinding view of miner standing just outside Leroy claim east audit mine shaft. Snow on ground and on tunnel walls. Steel rail tracks leading out of mine shaft and terminate at the ore chute. Seasons were short and miners often could not access mine until late June or even July.
