Location Notice "Iroquois" By Jennie Parker, Glacier Bay, Alaska.

Lode claim notice for "Iroquois" located and discovered August 27, 1938 by Jennie (Chase) Parker (Mrs. Bert Parker). Witnessed by Abraham Lincoln Parker and Henrietta White. Recorded in Juneau Mining District in Juneau, Territory of Alaska, September 9, 1938.


LODE CLAIM NOTICE OF LOCATION

of the IROQUISE (ed: Iroquois) mining claim.

Notice is hereby given that the undersigned having compiled with all of the require­ments of the laws of tha United States and the local laws, customs & regulations have this 27 day of Aug. A.D. 1938 discovered, located & claimed 1500 linear feet horizontal measurement of, on and along the lode or vein of quartz or other rock in place bearing gold, silver, copper, lead or other metal, with 300 feet of surface ground on each side of center line of said claim; together with all dips, spurs, angles & variations as all­owed by law; and all veins, lodes, deposits & ground within the lines of said claim sit­uated in the Juneau Mining district, territory of Alaska.  General course of said vein or deposit as nearly as can, at this time, be determined is northerly and southerly dir­ection, this claim extends 900 ft south & 600 north from discovery monument on which  this notice, is posted along the course of said center line of said claim.

Said claim is more particularly discribed as follows:  Southern shore of Reid Inlet on slope of northerly side of Mountain east of Lampaugh (ed: Lamplugh) Glacier - approximately ½  mi. from Ptarmigan creek.
