Rare Photo Sam Buoy Rink Creek Homestead. Gustavus, Alaska.

Sam Buoy arrived Gustavus 1934. Homestead house seen on Lt. with large hand split spruce shakes. Log barn under construction with unidentified people. Flag pole secured by ropes around tall tree stump. Later occupied by Tom & Jesse Buoy and burned down 1958 (chimney fire).
